Six tokens and medals. [England, 19th century].
• Medal from the time of the Covent Garden (London) theater re-opening, and the riots caused by rising prices (the Old Price Riots, 1809).
• Two identical tokens issued by John Ashby, stock broker in Bartholomew Lane bank. London [ca. 1820]. On one side appears a bull with the head of the banker Nathan Meir Rothschild and the legend "John Ashby Stock Broker no. 3, Bartholomew Lane Bank". On the reverse appear the office hours and an animal with the head of the banker Moses Macatta.
• Two different medals commemorating George III, King of the United Kingdom. [1820]. On both appears the Holy Edward's crown with the tetragrammaton above it, surrounded by sun beams.
• Token issued by the E. Moses & Son store in London. On the reverse appears a calendar of Sundays for the year 1856.
