Copies of the sons of the first Rebbe of Sadigura, the brothers Rebbe Yitzchak of Boyan and Rebbe Yisrael of Sadigura. On the title page of the three volumes appear both of their ownership stamps (with an illustration of a lion in the middle of the stamps). The stamps resemble those of their brother R. Shlomo Friedman and their brother-in-law R. Nachum Dov Ber Friedman.


The brothers Rebbe Yitzchak Friedman, the Pachad Yitzchak of Boyan (1850-1917) and Rebbe Yisrael of Sadigura (1852-1907), sons of Rebbe Avraham Yaakov (the first) of Sadigura. After their father's passing in 1883, they both served as rebbes in Sadigura. Three years later Rebbe Yitzchak moved to Boyan and established his Beit Midrash there.


Three volumes: [4], 5-28 leaves; [1], 2-22, 25-28, [12] leaves (misfoliated); [8] (misfoliated), 9-11, [9] leaves (misfoliated). Approx. 20 cm. Good-fair condition. Stains, wear and tears. Worming, affecting text. Title page of Part III repaired with paper. Stamps. New, uniform leather bindings.
