Opening: $1,500
Unsold
Eshle Ravreve [Shulchan Aruch Yoreh De'ah] by Rabbi Yosef Karo. Amsterdam, 1743.
In the margins there are many scholarly comments in writing characteristic of the mid-19th century. The writer mentions points written in his own novellae and points written on the page. It is obvious from the comments that they were written by a great scholar, he refers to books written in the 19th century (Beit Meir; Sidur of the Gaon of Lissa; response from Harim of Brisk and more).
