Ancient glosses in Ashkenazi handwriting, characteristic to Germany in the beginning of the 18th century. Ancient signatures: "Hirsh Cohen of Einbeck"; "Eliezer HaCohen of Mosbach"; Liber Katz".
[2], 192 leaves. 35 cm. Fair condition, stains, wear, moth damage and damages to title page and other leaves.
The first edition of Shulchan Aruch Even HaEzer that was printed with both commentaries, Beit Shmuel and Chelkat MeChokek. This edition was proofread by leading scholars of Furth and was the basis for all editions printed later.
