On title page handwritten signature of "Ya'akov Yitzchak Horowitz of Rodnik" and ink stamp of "Rabbi Ya'akov Yitzchak Horowitz of Kantshina and the province".
Short handwritten glosses.

2. Shulchan Aruch, Orach Chaim, With Yad Efrayim. [Dubno, 1820].
Signature: "Ya'akov Yitzchak Ha'Levi Ish Horowitz". Many short handwritten glosses.
(Title page missing), [1], 324 leaves (8 leaves missing in the end), 20.5cm. Fair condition.
Rabbi Ya'akov Yitzchak Horowitz (1840-1900) served as Av-Beit-Din in Radomishle. After the death of his father-in-law Rabbi Yoseph Yoske Westreich in 1883 he succeeded him as the Rabbi of Kantshina, Galicia. His father-in-law came from the family of Rabbi Tzvi Elimelech of Dinov and Rabbi Elimelech of Lizensk.
