"Hassolel, Palestine Society of Advertising and Publication" was established in Jerusalem, in 1919 by Itamar Ben-Avi, Menachem Asher Sapir, Alexander Aaronsohn, and others. The company published several newspapers: "Doʼar ha-yom, " its English version, the "Palestine Weekly" (later called the "Palestine Post, ") and the "Barid al-Yawm" (Arabic: Daily Mail).
