Shaar HaMelech, on the Rambam, by R. Yitzchak Nuñez-Belmonte, with the Taam HaMelech novellae, by the physician R. Baruch Jeitteles of Prague; Part I – Mada, Ahavah and Zemanim. Brno: Joseph Rossmann, [1801]. Second edition of Shaar HaMelech, and first edition of Taam HaMelech.
Important ownership – handwritten inscription at the top of the title page (contemporary to the printing): "Belongs to the holy rabbi of Mezhibuzh".
We do not know which holy rabbi this inscription is referring to – whether the book belonged to R. Baruch of Mezhibuzh, who passed away in 1812; or to R. Avraham Yehoshua Heshel of Apta, who lived in Mezhibuzh in 1816-1825. The book may have also belonged to R. Yosef Moshe, son of the rebbe of Apta, who lived in Mezhibuzh until his passing in 1851.
