Set of porcelain Passover tableware made by George V Grindley. England, ca. 1920. Porcelain, (stamped: Grindley made in England royal cauldon "passover" designed For Sirett).
The set consists of two serving dishes (medium and large), personal plates in three sizes (six plates of each size) and six cups. Each plate is decorated around its edges with vegetal ornamentations while in the center appears a Menorah, a Huppah (canopy) and a Torah Crown with the verse "And you shall tell your son on that day saying: we were slaves to Pharaoh in Egypt".
Lot of 26 dishes, diameter of plates: 14.5, 17.5, 23 cm. Diameter of serving plates: 30.5, 36 cm, diameter of cup: 8.5 cm. Very good condition.
