At the beginning of the second homiletic: "Jest for homiletic of the Shabbat Kallah and of Eretz Israel that I have spoken about here in Tripoli, 1865" - In this homiletic he also praises at length the local scholars: Rabbi Shalom Tito, Rabbi Avraham, Rabbi Yosef etc.
The Rabbi HaMapah - Rabbi Moshe Pardo (1794-1888) one of the outstanding scholars of Jerusalem, served as dayan in the Beit Din of the Rishon L'Zion Rabbi Avraham Ashkenazi together with the Rabbi author of "Kapei Aharon". In 1867, he was appointed Head of the Jerusalem Beit Din. In 1870, he went as an emissary to Africa and on his return via Egypt, he was appointed as rabbi of Alexandria where he served with great honor for 18 years. From this manuscript it appears that yet in 1865, he left as an emissary to Libya, in Tripoli and villages in the region. Some of his books: "Tzedek U'Mishpat", "Shemo Moshe" etc, many of his writings are still in manuscript form.
