Addressed to R. Gershon Wolf Banet, dayan in Ungvar (son-in-law of R. Shlomo Ganzfried). The letter pertains to laws of divorce and testimony.


R. Elazar Löw (1839-1917), author of Pekudat Elazar. Son and successor of R. Yirmiyahu Löw Rabbi of Ujhel, author of Divrei Yirmiyahu. He served as rabbi of Ujhel and later Ungar, and was one of the leading Orthodox rabbis in Northern Hungary.
