Mishneh Torah l'HaRambam (Maimonides), Volume II, Hafla'ah-Nezikin. [Venice, 1550].
Many glosses, in several handwritings [Yemen?]: modification of style, supplements from manuscripts, reproduction of Novellae of "Gilyon", scholarly comments from the author himself, references and assorted entries. The writer of the glosses refers to the books of the Rishonim, both handwritten (Sefer Habattim) and printed, (Maharik, Responsa of Chachmei Lounil etc.).
Most of the glosses are on the volumes of Hafla'ah, Zera'im and Nezikin – see attached article.
Notes and comments on the work "Sefer HaMitzvot" handwritten in pencil, at a later date.
394-585 leaves (Title page and volume dealing with Kinyan-Mishpatim are missing). 40.5cm. Thick, quality paper, fair condition, stains, wear and moth damage.
