Prayer against Cholera plague, translated from Hebrew by Rabbi Benjamin Cohen Carillon. Rabbi Carillon served as rabbi in St. Thomas Synagogue in the Virgin Islands in the Caribbean Sea (North America). Carillon's signature appears on the back. In 1832 one of the severest 19th century Cholera epidemics erupted in Paris and spread to other countries in Europe. 4 pp, 20.5 cm. Fair-good codnition. Stains. Tears at connection of leaves.
