Three series of color stereoscope cards depicting sites and views in Palestine. [Stuttgart]: Farbenphotographische Gesellschaft, 1910s.
Three series of six cards each: Serie 24 (Jerusalem), Serie 25 (Jerusalem) and Serie 27 (Palestine). Two of the series are in their original envelopes. The third is in the envelope of Serie 33.
Printed on verso of each of the cards is the name of the site in four languages (on some, in five languages) and short explanations in German. Sites include: The Western Wall, Damascus Gate, Mount Zion, Tombs of the Kings, Absalom's Pillar, Tiberias, Migdal and more.
18 cards. 9X18 cm. Good overall condition. Minor blemishes to margins of cards. Stains. Stains and tears to envelopes (some of the tears are restored with tape).
