57 photographs documenting the Holocaust of European Jewry and the concentration camps, [1940s]. Among the photographs: * Five large newspaper photographs (2.5X25 cm, United Press International Photo) – from the end of the war, Nordhausen (Dora-Mittelbau), Langenstein, Belsen and Dachau camps; * Seven photographs (later prints?) of the murder of the Jews of Libau (Latvia) shot down into pits, 1941; * three portrait photographs (later prints) of partisans murdered by the Nazis; * 26 photographs, some reproductions of photographs from the time of the Holocaust (Kovno Ghetto,Riga Ghetto and Auschwitz can be seen in some of the photographs) , some were used for Nazi propaganda and some were photographed in the midst of Holocaust survivors, she'erit hapleita after the war. * Album with 26 photographs (7X9.5 cm), 16 were taken in the Buchenwald concentration camp, [1950s]. Printed notes with explanations were integrated into the album leaves. The entrance to the camp, a model of the camp, various structures, crematorium, hanging pole and more can be seen in the photographs. Some of them are difficult to behold. Varied size and condition.
