Printed by Yitzchak ben Aharon of Prostějov. Approbations by Polish sages, including R. Mordechai Yoffe, author of the Levushim.
According to the title page, the rulings and halachot are based on the teachings of R. Ya'akov's rabbi, the Maharshal of Lublin. At the end of the book appears the essay Ketz HaPela'ot with a calculation of the year of Redemption, in which the writer asserts that the sin of gossip and lashon hara are liable for the delay of the Redemption.
