Pamphlet against the study of the local language and about the importance of the Holy Language, by Rabbi Chaim Lerman. Placek, 1903.
Rebbe Chaim Lerman (1867-1911, Otzar Ha'rabanim 6056), a righteous Ga'on, Rebbe of Dabrin, Placek, Krashnevitz-Warsaw. Author of "Netivot Chaim" and many other books.
Manuscript in lithographic printing. Found in the archive of Rabbi Aharon Mendel Ha'Cohen, Ashkenazi rabbi of Cairo (see about him item number 632), and was, most probably sent to him by the writer. We know that the writer sent this pamphlet to the Maharsham of Brezen as well [and apparently to more rabbis], according to the reply letter by the Maharsham [see attached material].
14 pages. 21.5cm. Good condition. Stains. Tears. Detached leaves.
