Mishenichnas Adar Marbin B'Simcha, lithograph. Szatmárnémeti (Satmar, Satu Mare), Romania, [ca. 1940-1944]. Two copies, one printed in blue and the second in purple.
Lithograph. Illustration of fish at the center of the leaves, with the inscription "Adar – Mazal Dagim", within decorative frames with floral and geometric motifs and Stars of David.
The first leaf was printed on 6 Hitler St. (Hitler Utca), as stated at the foot of the leaf (second leaf trimmed; no imprint).
Leaf 1: Approx. 40X29.5 cm. Leaf 2: approx. 39X29 cm. Good-fair condition. Browned paper. Some stains. Tear to lower part of leaf 2, slightly affecting decorative border. Tears repaired with paper on verso of both leaves.
