A metal box for shoe-paste. [Hungary, first decades of 20th century]. Hungarian and Hebrew.
A round shoe-paste metal box. On the lid appears the brand name – Zion Crème surrounded by an inscription that promises 10% from the proceeds to "Rabbi Meir Bassl Haness (in Hebrew and Hungarian). The box is decorated with two Stars of David with the word "Zion" within and the image of the Western Wall. On the back of the box appear instructions for use in Hungarian.
Diameter: 5.5 cm. Fair condition. Bends and peeling paint. Rust.
