Metal badge, "Shurot HaMaginim". Cyprus, [second half of 1940s].
The symbol of the "Haganah" appears in the center, surrounded by a hand holding two branches, a sword and a hammer.
"Shurot HaMaginim" was a secret organization related to the "Haganah", active in Cyprus internment camps. Palmach members that were sent from Palestine to the camps, trained the detainees towards their recruitment to the "Haganah" and later - to IDF.
