Manuscript – Sermons on the Torah and the Laws of Gittin

Opening: $400
Unsold
Manuscript, sermons on the Torah and "a summary of halachic rulings regarding Gittin arrangements". 1932.
We do not know who the author is, from the content he apparently held the position of rabbi (arranges Gittin) and he would give sermons every Shabbat. (He mentions the "Tzaddik of Berdichov", but the content of the sermons is not Chassidic – often, the author used the book Yad Yoseph).
At the beginning of the booklet is an Ottoman stamp, and the numbering is in Arabic numerals. The style of handwriting and the content is characteristic to the rabbis of Russia-Lithuania.
[145] written pages, 35.5 cm. Good-fair condition, missing binding, missing pages. The first and last pages are worn and detached, the rest of the pages are in good condition.
