Handwritten musical-notes booklet (several composers). Musical-notes for a tenor singer, for more than thirty different songs. The custom is to sing these songs during a wedding ceremony and on Simchat Torah. The texts in Hebrew appear next to the musical-notes, with a transcript into Latin letters and Cyrillic letters. Amongst the songs in the notebook: HaMal'ach HaGo'el, Av HaRachamim, Malchutcha, Hitkabtzu Malachim, Lel Olam Bekol Todah, Hashem Shomrecha, Halleluiah, and others; next to some of the songs appear names of composers, cantors of the 19th cent., amongst them Solomon Sulzer, Louis Lewansowski and David Naumberg. Ink-stamp of the Grand Choral Synagogue in St. Petersburg appears on all of the leaves. [52] pp, 18.5X26 cm. Fair condition. Tears at borders of leaves, loose leaves.
