Lengthy dedication on the title page, handwritten and signed by R. Eliezer David Grünwald Rabbi of Satmar, who gave the book as wedding gift to his disciple in Satmar, 11th Tishrei 1925. Stamps of R. Eliezer David Grünwald, from his tenure as rabbi of Szerdahely (Dunajská Streda).
R. Eliezer David Grünwald (ca. 1866-1928), rabbi of Satmar. Brother of the Arugat HaBosem and his close disciple. Served as rabbi and dayan in many illustrious communities in Hungary and Transylvania, and founded prominent yeshivot. Author of the Keren LeDavid series, responsa, Torah novellae, homiletics, and more.
