Six letters from Rabbi Shlomo Wolbe to Rabbi Chaim Zeichik. Be’er Ya'akov and Jerusalem, [1970-1989].
Thank you letters for books, New Year greetings, arrangement for visits and other matters. The letters express the great love and friendship between these two Mussar personalities from the previous generation.
Rabbi Shlomo Wolbe (1914-2005), was the founder and Mashgiach of the “Be’er Ya'akov” Yeshiva. He was a disciple of Rabbi Yerucham of Mir. He was a Mussar master. Wrote two volumes of “Alei Shur” and many other books.
The recipient of the letters: Rabbi Chaim Ephraim Zeichik (1906-1989), learned in Novardok yeshivot, was a Mussar master in Poland and America. Came to live in Israel in 1963. He was known for his Mussar lectures and articles. See also his handwritten notebooks, item no. 530.
