Letter handwritten and signed by Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Friedling Av-Beit-Din Boskovice (Poland). Was sent to the editorial staff of the “Ha-Tzofe Le-Chachmei Israel” Budapest, with an inscription for an advertising notice for the periodical “Ha-Be’er”. [Boskovice, 1925].
Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Friedling (1884-1940), was born in Zamosc and was appointed as Rabbi of the nearby city of Boskovice. Published a periodical on Halacha, homiletics and debate, through which he became known to the public for his religious greatness.
Author of "Ratz Ka-Zvi" and other books. Moved to Warsaw in 1936 where he served as rabbi in one of the suburbs. Perished in the holocaust. See attached material (Eile Ezkera, 7, pp. 230-233)
