Four letters written by Leah Goldberg, addressed to Rebecca Gvili-Broide in the United States, who composed the music to Goldberg’s poem, “Pizmon Likinton.”
1. 29.6.66. typewritten and signed by hand, with an attached page with the music to the song and a request for Broide’s opinion. In its original envelope. We do not know if this melody was ever published.
2. 29.4.47. Handwritten on both sides of the page. “I am ending my pedagogic career this year… I don’t know why I have become so lazy.” In its original envelope.
3. 23.8.46. Two handwritten pages. “My mood… is so bad, that it’s hard to meet with people, speak to them, difficult not to burden others. I have reached a complete exhaustion.” In its original envelope.
4. Undated, writing on both sides of the page. No envelope.
