Lapidim, journal for youngsters appearing twice a month and published by Fifth Grade, Hebrew Gymnasium, Vilnius, 1922-1923. Editor: A.[Avraham] Broides. Publisher: M. Kopelovitch. Illustrations: Kalitchka.
Four booklets: first year, booklet no. 2, 3, 6-7; second year, booklet no. 2.Printed in lithographic printing. Include poems, short stories, "chronicles" with information about Eretz Israel and a section of humor, riddles and games. First poems by Avraham Broides (1907-1979) were published in these booklets. Broides immigrated to Israel in 1923 and was active in the "Protectors of the Hebrew Language Battalion" (issue no.6-7 opens with his essay "the question of Hebrew Speech". Later on he was one of the founders of "HaNO'ar HaOved" movement. 20-24 cm. Good condition. Dry paper, stains and tears to borders.
