Various inscriptions appear on the title page. Signatures and owner’s inscriptions. In the book’s sheets there are about ten handwritten glosses by Rabbi Chaim Nissim Abulafia. On the back page, there are a few ownership inscriptions from the Beit Midrash of Tiberius and the ornate rabbinical signature of Rabbi Yosef Shmuel Abulafia.

Rabbi Yosef Shmuel Abulafia (1845-1884) was one of the greatest Tiberius Torah scholars, he passed away while on a mission for the Tiberius Kollel in Mogador, Morocco.
