Steinman, Eliezer [ed]. Ketuvim, weekly journal on questions of culture, literature and art, published by Agudat HaSofrim V'Hasifrut Ha'Ivrit B'Eretz Yisrael. Tel Aviv, 1926-1933.
First to seventh year, Issues 1-299. (Issue 14 of the first year is missing). Ketuvim was founded by Chen Bialik and edited by Eliezer Steinman; Later, Avraham Shilansky joined the editing staff. Ketuvim served as the mouthpiece of the Hebrew Authors' Union where they published their works: Asher Brosh, Ya'akov Pichman, Avigdor HaMeiri, Avraham Shalonsky, Esther Raab, Nathan Alterman, Avraham Chalfi and others. After a year, Ketuvim became sharply opposed to the leaders of the Authors' union and the union removed its patronage from the journal and founded Moznayim. After the two editors Steinman and Shalonsky parted ways, the publishing of the journal ceased and Shalonsky began editing Turim. Five volumes 49 cm. Good condition. Damage to several issues.
From Dr. Israel Mehlman's collection.
