Ketubah recording the marriage of the groom, Yosef ben Hamaskil Venavon Ya'akov Milul O.B.M. and the bride Bienvinida bat Ya'akov Kapua O.B.M.. Livorno, [September 1795].
Handwritten on parchment. The "Tena'im" appear in a separate paragraph, beneath the ketubah text. The text mentions the financing sources of the bride's dowry (since the bride is an orphan), from the funds of the wealthy men Sir Ya'akov Bessan, Sir Francus, and the bequest of the late Mercado Pinto, O.B.M..
The signatures of the groom and the witnesses appear in Italian only. Official ink stamp (in Italian) in the top right corner.
31.5X43.5 cm. Fair condition. Stains. Tears to margins, with slight damage to text. Creases and folding marks. Glue traces on reverse.
