On other side of title page handwritten inscription: “Gift to the groom… Moshe Yehoshua Hager…”.
Recipient of the book is the Admor of Vizhnitz Bnei Brak – Rabbi Moshe Yehoshua, born in 1916. Prior to his marriage he already succeeded in inheriting his father’s position in the Velikhovich rabbinate and served as head of the Grosswardein Yeshiva. He married in 1942, and apparently received the book at that time. The book was given to him by Rabbi Yehudah Nachshoni, editor of the She’arim newspaper.
