Book about the Jewish community of Nürnberg in the Middle-Ages, by Andreas Würfel (1718-1769). Historic facts as well as falsehoods and inaccuracies of an anti-Semitic nature.
Facing the title-page is an impressive engraving titled "Prospect der Juden Schul, wie sie stande, dort, wo jzt die Frauen Kirche" showing the Jewish synagogue in Nürnberg, Under it are six rectangles in which are seen Jewish figures in various traditional attires of the Middle-Ages: weekday attire, a Jewish woman in Sabbath attire and more.
The Hebrew texts in the book includs inscriptiones on tomb stones in the Nürnberg cemetery and "Zichron Edut" of 1426, with a detailed list of property and real-estate that Rabbi Uri Yekutiel bequeathed to his son.
