Jacob Eisensher, woodcuts, 1918-1922, 21 woodcuts printed on separate sheets in a stiff cover, in a handsome folder, signed by the artist and marked A/P/ Copy out of an edition of 80 copies. Published by "A. Rosenfeld Gallery", [Tel-Aviv, 1983].
"The wooden boards of early works he [Eisensher] carried everywhere with him, and now he printed them again…Jewish towns of the beginning of the century, coffee houses in towns in central Europe and a journey to the Danube which was still blue (out of the introduction composed by Shlomo Shva).
14 prints, 19X14 cm and 7 prints 21X28 cm. Condition varies. Good overall condition. Slight stains to margins of Hebrew title page. Stained cover.
