Items from the estate of Herta Hoffmann, owner of a motor vehicle trading company in Dortmund, Germany. Hoffmann immigrated to Eretz Israel in 1933 (with her sister Martha) and established a garage and company for importing vehicles at the corner of Allenby and Levontin Streets in Tel Aviv. Among the items: * Three diaries from the years 1934-1935, in handwriting, include precise details of private matters as well as trade details, applications to the German Immigrants Society, etc. An additional notebook, in which there is one page in handwriting with details of the location and size of the parking lot belonging to Mrs. Hoffmann. * About 30 documents of various types, bills and receipts, letters sent to Mrs. Hoffmann, visiting cards, and copies of documents and visiting cards connected with the business she ran in Dortmund. * Catalogue of Stoewer Company for manufacturing vehicles in Stettin, 1931 (with photographs).
