Booklet printed for the inauguration of the synagogue, with photos. The corner-stone ceremony was held in 1929 and the synagogue was inaugurated on January 16 1938. Money for buying the land was donated by Baron Edmund de Rothschild and the main donation for constructing the building was by the Jewish-British Baron of Hong Kong, Laurence Kadoorie. 20 pp, 23 cm.
