A children's book, illustrated in color, telling the story of Hanukkah and the bravery of the Maccabees in Hebrew and German, column by column. The booklet is printed from left to right. On each spread an illustration and the corresponding text appear on the right and on the left appears an illustration of the Temple Menorah on black background (repeated on all of the spreads). It is possible that the illustrations were created by the German artist Adele Sandler. On the first leaf of the book appears a handwritten dedication, dated 1927.
