Hashkafa, edited by E[Eliezer] Ben Yehudah, Jerusalem, 1899. Hebrew. Second year, issues 14, 15,18 and 19 bound together.
Hashkafa is a periodical published between 1896 and 1908 (not printed in 1901) by Eliezer Ben Yehudah. Publication of the periodical can be divided into two periods: first period (1896-1900) it served as a supplement for readers in the Diaspora; in the second period (1902-1908) it appeared as a substitute for Hazvi/Haor when the latter was not published. "Hashkafa" was first published as a paper for Jews in the Diaspora from late in 1896 until mid 1900, with essays published in Hazvi. During this period the periodical appeared weekly or bi-weekly and each issue consisted of 8 to 16 pages.
27.5 cm, fair condition. Tears to margins of title pages, damp staining, ink stamps and pencil scribbles.
