Hanukkah lamp, designed by "Bezalel" [Eretz Israel, mid 20th century].
Repousee brass sheet. Marked in Hebrew: "Bezalel Yerushalem".
On the back is a depiction of the lighting of the Temple Menorah by the High Priest, accompanied by other figures and the Hebrew inscription: "They kindled lights in your holy courtyards, and instituted these eight days of Hanukkah. Beneath the row of fonts are medallions in the shape of ancient coins. On the right of the oil fonts there is room for the Shamash. The lamp rests on four legs (lacking two), with a suspension loop.
Height: 14 cm, width: 17 cm. Good- fair condition. Two legs missing.
