Thirteen issues, divided according to the Hebrew Calendar (leap year). The issues include poetry, literature, allegories, biographies of Jewish sages, European history passages "Toldot Hazman", literary criticism, and other sections. Amongst the writers: Ephraim Luzato, Naftali Herz Weisel, Eliyahu Morphurgo, Isaac Euchel, and others.
"HaMe'asef" is one of the important and early periodicals of the Haskalah movement. The periodical called to spread "enlightenment", criticized the rabbinical leadership, published news about the changes that Europe underwent, etc. Pagination varies. Volume 17.5 cm. Good condition.
