1. Kol Tse’akat Ha-Ro’im, on Pesach Kasherut laws regarding wheat ground with steam powered grindstones. [This book opposes] Rabbi Rafael Chaim Moshe Ben-Naim (Rabbi of Gibraltar) who forbids [the consumption of such wheat on Passover]. Authored by Rabbi Eliyahu Ben Gigi (Rabbi of Saida, Algeria).

2. Itam Kashot, a response to pamphlets printed in Oran, against the book “Kevod Yaakov” by Rabbi Avraham Palagi. Rabbi Ya’uda, son of Rabbi Chaim Elbali. Izmir [1893]. [The “Kevod Yaakov” was a book written in memory of the late Yaakov Akrich who was exhumed following the Wharan rabbis’ verdict according to which the latter did not deserve to be buried in the Jewish cemetery because he had voluntarily committed suicide, more on this polemic further down].
3. Ya’aneh Ba-Esh, on the dead bodies cremation custom. Rabbi Eliyahu Ben Amozeg. Livorno, [1906].
4. Milchemet Ha-Magen, an answer to a Halachic ruling’s justification by the Casablanca rabbis on levirate marriage. By the authorizing rabbi, Rabbi Moshe Meir Chai Elyakim. Casblanca, (192 5). [As a response to the opposing rabbi, Rabbi Chananya Chaviv Azoulay, in his book “Magen Ha-Dat”, booklets 1-2, Djerba 1925].
