"Gorala (first stage - letter combinations)", tabletop game for children, edited by Levin Kipnis, with silhouettes by M. [Meir] Gur-Arie. Published by "Achiever", printed by "HaPo'el HaTza'ir", zincography "M. Pikovski", Tel Aviv, [ca. 1920s].
Original tabletop game edited by Levin Kipnis, decorated with silhouettes by Meir Gur-Arie. Every player gets a card with verses from a children's song (songs by Levin Kipnis, Bialik, Fichman, Zalman Shneur and more) and the leader draws cut letters from a stock of cards. The first who assembles a complete line sings the song which appears on the back of the card.
Complete set, in original box, which contains: ten illustrated cards with songs and letters; forty separate cards, with song verses, for cutting (uncut); instructions booklet.
Box approx. 20X16 cm. Good-fair condition. Damages to box.
