Sixteen glass slides with Stereoscopic photographs from Palestine, produced by "Vérascope Richard". [France, ca. early 20th century].
Glass slides with stereoscopic photographs of views, sites and figures in Palestine. Among the photographed sites: Jerusalem (Nablus Gate, Western Wall, entrance to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Valley of Jehoshaphat and other sites in the Old City), Rachel's Tomb, Nazareth, Mount Tabor, and more.
The photographs are titled in print on the slides (the photograph of Rachel's Tomb is titled by hand).
16 glass slides, 10.5X4.5 cm, placed in a cardboard box. Good overall condition. The printed titles on two of the slides are faded. Slight defects. Slight defects and tears to box.
