Supervision: Shimshon Klaus. Published by Massada Press and Golden Pages, Jerusalem, 1979. Hebrew and English.
Perek HaShalom, artistic typography. Printed on thick paper in green and golden ink, with Marginal decorations. A bibliophilie edition published on the occasion of the Peace treaty between Israel and Egypt. Accompanied by an introduction "Al HaShalom", passages from Menachem Begin's address at the Nobel Prize ceremony. Copy no. 5 out of an edition of 1800 copies. Signed by Sperber and Narkiss in English and Hebrew. Bound by hand in a leather binding.
A catalogue with photographs is enclosed, icluding photographs from the peace treaty and a photograph of Menachem Begin presenting the books to Anwar Sadat. The dedication which Begin wrote for Sadat, in three language: Hebrew, English and Arabic, appears on the back of the catalogue.
Inserted in an olive-wood case with a metal plaque on the front, with an engraved inscription in Hebrew, Arabic and English: "A copy of this book was presented to the President of Egypt Anwar Sadat by the Prime Minister of Israel Mr. Menachem Begin in the historic ceremony in El-Arish on Sivan 1, 5739".
