1-3. Three "Battle Leaves" issues by the "Givati" Brigade information headquarters, Southern front. 9, 12 and 15 of July 1948. The "Battle Leaves" were composed by the poet Abba Kovner, who was the Brigade's officer in charge of culture during the 1948 war.
4. "Prize for Battle Diary", issued by the Information Headquarters of Givati Brigade in the Southern front, [after May 1948]. This leaf calls the Brigade soldiers to take part in writing a battle diary in order to collect "original material which will reflect the military spirit of the Brigade; will supply material for historic research, and encourage our soldiers to write". Prizes of 50 and 100 Liras would be granted for the best two diaries.
Condition varies. Stains, creases and filing-holes.
