Tallit bag, owned by Rabbi David Solomon Sassoon. England, late 19th or early 20th century.
A fine Tallit bag made of thick high quality velvet, deep wine color. Decorated with embroidered flower baskets in colorful threads. The initials "DS" (David Solomon Sassoon, 1880-1942) are embroidered on the bag. 25x28 cm. Very good condition.
