Elaborate facsimile on parchment of an illuminated Esther scroll from the German region, beginning of the 18th century. Surrounding the tiny text are delicate colorful adornments and illustrations of various scenes from the story of the Book of Esther. The facsimile is enclosed in a silver case crafted after the style of Viennese craftsmanship of the 19th century. The original scroll is in the Gross collection in Israel.
The facsimile is housed in a special casing. Enclosed is an English brochure and introduction, and a matching fabric case.
