Colorful, illustrated ketubah in booklet format. Mashhad (Iran), 12th Elul 1894.
Elaborate ketubah, with (Islamic) floral designs in the margins in hues of gold, red, blue and purple. Booklet format, comprising six written pages, signed by the writer at the end. Other signatures.
[4] leaves (6 written and illustrated pages + parchment paper between leaves for protection). 21.5 cm. Good–fair condition. Stains, including dampstains. Folding marks. Tiny tears to folds. New binding.
