Einei Yitzchak, Volume 2, commentaries and novellae on Ein Ya'akov, Tractates Yevamot-Uktzin, by Rabbi Yitzchak Aharon the Magid of Vilkomir, Vilna, 1878.
At end of book, 4 handwritten pages, index and three pages of lists commemorating family occasions and dates of birth and death, in handwriting of the author's son, some copied from the author's own lists. In one list, he copied the date of his father's birth: "The date of my father, my teacher's birth, 1809, two days before Rosh Chodesh Adar in his mother's opinion and in his father's opinion, one day before Rosh Chodesh Adar and this was always disputed - this I have copied from his handwriting, Hashem should lengthen his days until the arrival of the redeemer".
The Magid of Vilkomir, Rabbi Chaim Yitzchak Aharon Rappaport (1809-1904), served for decades as a preacher in Eiֵ¡iֵ¡kִ—s (1838-1843) and in Wilkomierz (1843-1884). At age 75, immigrated to Jerusalem where he lived a long life. Besides this book, wrote dozens of pamphlets and proclamations on various topics in Jerusalem. Many articles have been written about his esteemed character and his original opinions. These interesting lists reveal many details of his life and the lives of his parents and children.
