The letters presented here demonstrate the efforts invested by Hanoch Kanterovich and Joseph Kanterovich (living in Tel-Aviv) to find their brother Avraham-Hersch, after the Holocaust. In letters sent by the Joint organization it is reported that Avraham-Hersch died after his release. The letters also imply that his wife (widow), Lola Kanterovich (Rosenblum) and their child are in Bergen-Belsen DPC and are planning to go to Italy, to Lola's sister.
The items include: letters sent by Lola Kanterovich from Bergen- Belsen DPC, notes with handwritten lists (some include names of survivors and were written in Bergen-Belsen), forms of the Search Bureau for Missing Relatives, and more.
