Two volumes of the periodical "der groyser kundes", periodical for humor and satire, with caricatures and many humorous illustrations. The periodical was founded by the Jewish humorist and satirist Yossef Tunkel (der tunkeler) and was published between the years 1909-1927, first as a bi-weekly and later as a weekly. The first issues were titled "der groyser kibitzer". Volume I: first year, January-December 1909: issues 1, 3-5 (titled "der groyser kibitzer") and issues 6-27 (titled "der groyser kundes").
Volume II: Fourth year, January-December 1912: issues 1-16, 18-24, 26-39, 48-52. At the end are bound issues 45 and 52 of the third year (November-December 1911).
Two volumes, 33 cm. Condition varies. Stains and tears. Professionally restored leaves in some issues (with damage to text). New, fine, bindings.
