Five share certificates and a deposit note issued by small banks between 1920s and 1940s, a period in which small banking and loan societies in Palestine were flourishing.
1. Illustrated share certificate of "Bank for Agriculture & Small Industry at Ramat Gan Ltd". Z. Rivlin printing press, Tel Aviv. Issued in Ramat Gan in 1929. The certificate indicates that Yitzchak Leib Goldberg is the owner of one share in the value of one Palestine Pound. About Goldberg see item no. 393.
2-3. Two blank share certificates issued by "The National Guarantee & Mortgage Bank of Palestine Ltd.", each one indicating that the holder is the owner of one Preference Share. "HaSolel" printing press, Haifa, [1930s or 40s]. Both shares are complete and include dividend coupons.
On the back of one share appear records of incomes and expenses (written by hand and typewritten, in English) from the years 1941-1942.
4. Blank Deposit Note of "Bank Nurock-Idelsack Ltd.", confirming that the holder of the note deposited in the bank the amount of 5 Palestine Pounds. Design: [Tuvia?] Aharoni. Arieli press, Tel-Aviv, [ca. 1930s]. The certificate is complete with dividend coupons. Due to a printing error, not all the coupons match the number on the certificate.
